***LUCY*** Our June Pet of The Month!!
A message from the owner:
Lucy loves people, especially children, she was barely a year old when she took a protective place to “watch out” for our first grandchild. Before she lost her hearing, Lucy would be told the grands were coming. She would watch the back door without leaving her ‘post’ until they walked in even though it would be almost 3 hours! We learned to give the alert they were coming when they called to say they were at the city limits! Lucy is very energetic and loves to catch a ball in her mouth and then throw it back up. She loves to snuggle and always has to touch one of us when she is resting. She also is a seasoned traveler and enjoyed her own car seat. She is the sweetest dog we have ever had.
