Our very own, Hannah Mills’s pup “Chief” was picked as Pet of The Month! Hannah says, “Chief’s registered name and nickname “Shappa” was used predominantly in the Siouan language and it is derived from Native American origins meaning red thunder. Which fits him perfectly!” Sweet Chief just celebrated his 4th birthday. 🎂 He is a proud daddy to 23 healthy happy bloodhound babes. 🐶
His favorite things to do are hunt, fish, and go in the river with mom and dad. He loves to swim, but in turn, not very good at it. If only his ears were propellers, he would maybe catch the ducks that torment him from the middle of the pond. 🦆
