Things looked clean and tidy. I couldn’t have asked for more. The staff there held my dog during treatment. They knew I was too upset and would only make my puppy more nervous. Dr. Rob diagnosed her with a snake bite and immediately started an IV with fluids and the staff administered the antivenom shots. He called me at home to say that I really needed to take her to Charleston to the veterinary Hospital there because he thought she needed more antivenom.
I couldn’t have asked for more. The staff were treating my puppy with kindness and compassion. The staff treated my puppy with kindness and compassion. When it was time to go, my puppy seemed to be resting comfortably in the crate they had put her in. They had given her something for pain. I asked if I could borrow the crate to take her to Charleston and not only did they agree, they carried it out to my car for me. There was nothing I could think of that they weren’t doing. My experience was very good with this group of people.
My pup is just fine now and I will be returning the crate asap. I’m still being careful but she’s pretty much back to her spunky self.
